Who we are
Perform Unlimited UK CIC was created to make theatre feel possible, relevant and welcoming for people who might never have considered it before.
Founded by a working-class actor, Perform Unlimited is rooted in lived experience. We understand the barriers that stop people accessing the arts — whether that’s confidence, cost, environment or simply not seeing yourself represented.
Our work meets people where they are, not where we think they should be.
We believe theatre can be a powerful tool for reflection, conversation and change when it’s delivered with honesty, care and respect.
Meet Cath
Cath is a working-class actor and creative practitioner with years of experience working across theatre, education and community settings.
Her journey through the industry hasn’t followed a traditional or privileged route — and that lived experience sits at the heart of Perform Unlimited UK CIC.
Cath has spent her career not only performing, but working directly with young people in environments where access to the arts is limited or non-existent. She understands first-hand how confidence, opportunity and representation can shape whether someone feels theatre is “for them” or not.
Perform Unlimited was created as a direct response to those barriers — offering work that is honest, accessible and rooted in real lives, not institutions.
Cath’s practice is grounded, people-led and unapologetically working class. She believes theatre works best when it reflects the communities it’s delivered in, and when participants feel seen rather than spoken at.
